This episode looks at the benefits of authentic assessments in college courses! Authentic assessments allow students to use their talents to demonstrate their knowledge of the material. Examples shared are problem-based learning (specifically project-based learning), performance assessment, and course portfolios. I also look at some of the challenges to implementation.
